Calling all ghosts, ghouls and grossly undead 一 mark your calendars because eatSouthBank’s annual ‘Trick or Treat on Little Stanley Street’ is back on the 25th and 26th of October.
Watch as Little Stanley Street is transformed into a hauntingly fun playground, complete with interactive roving performers, themed markets, games, a ghost train, and an outdoor movie theatre on the Little Stanley Street South Lawn for all the family to enjoy.
After the trick-or-treating dies down and you really want to treat yourself to some great food, the restaurants along the street are also in on the eerie action, dressing up their venues and adding Halloween-themed touches 一 yes, that includes special drink and dine offers.
These offers include quirky cocktails like Poca Madre’s Black Margarita, Baba Ganouj’s Tropical Zombie Lagoon, and Barbossa’s wickedly delicious Spiked Spider. Or if you want to spice things up, Brooklyn Depot has its Wing Roulette challenge, and Momo Chicken has its signature bloody marinade on boneless chicken.
Other locations sinking their fangs into the Halloween spirit are Ole Restaurant, Vici, and Ahmet’s Turkish Restaurant, and Cork and Chroma.
This event will be completely free, so the only thing you’ll have to worry about (other than being scared of how much fun you’ll have) is getting there! While Little Stanley Street will close for the trick-or-treating, there is parking available and public transport is still 50 cents, so it might be the perfect time to take advantage of that.
So whether you’re looking for a family-friendly night out or just want to embrace the Halloween spirit this month, Trick or Treat on Little Stanley Street is the place to be. Check out their website for more information here.
