If you’re a foodie who’s been to the Goldie, chances are you’ve been to this Burleigh favourite (or at least drooled over their Instagram).
We could talk at length about the sweet pastry delights, savoury bready goodness and epic milkshake offerings, but we’re too busy stuffing our faces with the iconic breakfast in bread (literally a breakfast cob loaf)!

This Mermaid Beach hot spot preaches slow eating, mindful meals, wellness, and relaxation. Serving up some of the best veggie breaky on the Coast, their menu is made up of delicious healthy treats like apple pie porridge. When we’ve got a big day ahead of us, the vegan nachos are always the option, topped with vegan cheese, house baked beans, house habanero jam, chimichurri, house salsa and guacamole.

Bam Bam, thank you ma’am. The baked goods that come out of this joint are truly next level, and so are the breakies! Whatever you do, make sure you snag a serve of the croissant French toast. Drool.

A brunch institution for as long as we can remember, this Broadbeach treasure offers up seasonal menus of nothing but the best.

HOT SHOTT | MAIN BEACH
This soulful spot serves up an all-day menu that covers everything from breaky to dessert. Divided up by light options and hearty feasts, the menu features stars like cinnamon scroll buttermilk pancakes, breaky sliders, acai bowls, and build-your-own-bagel boards!
ESPRESSO MOTO | PALM BEACH AND MERMAID WATERS
For a no-fuss breaky with plenty of good vibes and a touch of vintage charm, it’s gotta be these pit stop professionals. Hot tip: You will truly regret not ordering the salted caramel thick shake. Just do it.

This health-conscious cafe in the heart of Nobby is known up and down the Coast for its wholesome eats and accommodating menu, as well as its primo beachfront location. Take your pick of sweet and savoury healthy breaky treats, but be sure to save room for Cocowhip!

Part of the Cornerstone Stores, this beautiful brick cafe features a primarily vegetarian menu using locally sourced ingredients. The airy venue creates an absolutely dreamlike atmosphere for your morning coffee. We’ve got our eyes on the winter breakfast salad, served with roasted baby carrots, quinoa, mushrooms, kale, tomato and Japanese carrot and ginger dressing.

A favourite for those up the northern end of the GC, these guys are well known for their caffeinated bevs, perfectly-plated breakfast, and welcoming staff. We’d know… We keep coming back time after time for that Cinnabon French toast.
CARDAMOM POD | SOUTHPORT
With a cosy locale in Southport’s Brickworks, this is the all-vego cafe that plant-based dreams are made of. For a healthy spin on a breaky classic, look no further than the healthy benny with avo on sweet potato discs with tempe, sautéed baby spinach, field mushroom, cashew hollandaise sauce and grilled tomato.

Perched atop D’bah Hill with glorious views out to the ocean, beachside cafe is one of our go-tos this side of the QLD/NSW border. A classic breaky menu has all your favourites plus some not-so-traditional picks like the pork and prawn okonomiyaki. Too good.

This funky south-end cafe is serving up healthy feeds and good vibes every day. The specialty is obviously their award winning acai bowls, but their delicious seasonal menus feature plenty of tasty hunger-busters too.

If you haven’t stopped by yet, this is your sign! We are constantly thinking about their breaky bagel variety and unreal coffee – it’s everything we need in the morning. Be sure to check out the baked goods at the counter for a mid-morning snack too, you won’t regret it!
