Obscure Potter references aside, owners Brian and Cathy Fitzgibbons are in fact paying homage to Brian’s beloved grandmother with their gorgeous new venture, Lily Restaurant!
Just like Lily, who ran the Dining Room at The Daniell Hotel on Adelaide Street during the 1950s, Brian and Cathy are now following in her footsteps two generations later.
Taking root in an area traditionally associated with great Asian eateries or small suburban cafes, Lily is here to fulfil every southsider’s desire for a quality modern Australian menu and great cocktails just that little bit closer to home.
Alongside beautifully curated seasonal meals such as red wine jus duck breast with sweet onion lychee jam, or the soon-to-be famous double choc brownie dessert with honeycomb and orange mousse, Lily Restaurant’s stunning cocktail menu is also in full bloom!
Topping our recommended list is their dangerously good Lily Blossom, a signature cocktail featuring prosecco, strawberry vodka, raspberry puree, mint, and a dash of chilli flakes for extra kick.
No need to settle petal in the southside anymore! Take the road less travelled (aka Logan road during those pesky peak traffic hours) and stop by Lily Restaurant for divine sips and culinary delights.
