Ciao down at the Valley’s new late-night Italian restaurant

Cocktails and pasta? That’s amore.

Taking over the space vacated (on the street, and in our hearts) when Longtime relocated to James Street, Eterna is set to be the Valley’s next tastiest thing when it opens on Thursday, July 30.

With a menu that highlights the cuisine of Rome, Eterna was devised by owner Stefano de Blasi (you know his work from Salt Meats Cheese!) to mix the delicious culinary tradition of Rome with the late-night dining and drinking culture of New York.

We’re talking plates of cacio e pepe, carbonara, and Amatriciana pastas, as well as street food-style snacks like suppli, porchetta and roast chicken for sharing, and (of course) some decadent Roman desserts.

While Brisbane’s notorious for being difficult to find a late-night bite, Eterna’s kitchen will remain open through to 11 pm every Tuesday-Saturday.

There’ll be classic cocktails pouring as well as local and Italian wines, making Eterna a solid option at which to start your night, stop by for refuelling, or wind down with a carb coma (and one last cocktail)!

A funky late-night spot where the food’s actually good? We’re Eterna-lly grateful!
