Scandinavian Festival

If you’re planning on heading to the Brisbane Mexican Festival, why not make it a weekend with international flare and head to The Danish Club in Newstead for The Scandinavian Festival. From 10am-4pm, Austin Street will be invaded by over 50 Scandinavian stallholders who will be showing off the food, drink, arts and crafts, design traditions and life of the Nordic countries of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Estonia. You can meet some vikings, learn about Scandinavian culture and eat your way through cinnamon buns, Danish pastries, smorrebrod, meatball sandwiches and plenty more. The festival is family friendly and free to enter!
