Oktoberfest Brisbane

Good times are pretty much guaranteed when the beer consumption benchmark mark is set at 7.7 million litres. Every year during Oktoberfest in Munich about two-and-a-half Olympic sized swimming pools of beer are consumed. That’s enough to turn us all into Bavarians! This Bavarian beerfest hosted at the RNA Showgrounds is the largest Oktoberfest celebration in Australia and one of the world’s top 10 outside of Germany. Basically, the showgrounds will be transformed into a German town festival, complete with a marketplace, gourmet food and plenty of beers, German and otherwise, in The Biergarten. Take a seat at one of the long tables on the grass, get your hands a beer and a pretzel and settle in for an afternoon of beery good times. Tickets range from $17-25 and can be found here.
