The streets of the Valley are being taken over by a Colombian Street Festival on the 18th of July. In celebration of Colombian Independence Day, the street party will feature delicious Colombian food and drink as well as lively music performances to create a full-on Colombian culture experience.
The festivities swing into action from 11am. Prepare your appetite for authentic Colombian dishes such as paella, empanadas, arepas and of course sweet treats for after, before, or even in between the dancing if you can manage it!
If you’re just there for the food, Latin Bakers, La Fona Colombiana, Spanish Paella, Latin Delights, Colombian BBQ, Arepa House and Tayrona will all be joining the party this year and cooking up a storm like no other. Wash it all down with exotic Colombian beverages, including Aguardiente, Aguila, Gaseosas Colombians, as well as Colombian style shots and cocktail towers.
The day will run late into the night, in typical Colombian form, with the party really kicking off after dark thanks to Colombian music makers, DJs Santi Casta and Toro.
Get your dancing shoes on and wear your best festival pants (elastic waistband recommended) and shake your groove into the Valley.
