Step into Brisbane’s own Garden of Eden.

With the amount of emerging alley eateries and laneways in the CBD, it’s time to forget about Brisvegas and bring on Brisnew York.

Speaking of the Big Apple, Woolloongabba’s newest foodie destination is aesthetic overload – say hello to Eden Lane. Be still our beating hearts – along with this uber cool laneway, we’ve got not one, but four fantastic venues, and they won’t cost you an arm and a rib.

Kiss the Berry

Nestled in the leafy brick walls of Eden Lane, you’ll find the fitspo legends Kiss the Berry. Whether you’re fuelling up after an early morning run (who are you) or grabbing a healthy brunch, their acai bowls are packed with fresh fruit, coconut and almond milk, organic acai and other tasty toppings that can’t be beat. Keep the health vibes going strong with a yoga sesh on the weekend in the laneway – and remember to stay hydrated with a smoothie.

Superfly Funk Eye

This Japanese bar and eatery is groovy, baby – and we’re not just talking about their mouth-watering range of finger food and cocktails. Take in the beauty of Eden Lane as you’re chowing down rare beef, pork belly buns or karaage chicken from the outdoor seating, or head inside to check out their bar featuring a thoughtful selection of wine and cocktails. Hungry? Order their entire menu for just $80, which easily feeds three (or one G&G writer).

Day Made Supreme

Go ahead, make my day. No, seriously, we’re starting our mornings off on the right foot at this coffee stop – and it all begins with their freshly roasted caffeine. Serving batch brewed filter coffee, espresso and cold drinks, these guys take their coffee seriously – and you can grab a few bags of beans to take home if you can’t get enough of their ever-evolving range. As well as an insta-worthy interior, expect other produce like honey, soda syrup and peanut butter – or keep your hunger at bay with their daily brekkie/lunch menu.

31 Degrees Custom Chocolates

While we’ll take as much acai and raw cocoa as we can get, sometimes (all the time) it’s good to just treat ourselves – and this is where 31 Degrees comes in. If the scent of rich chocolate doesn’t make you drool, take one look at the rows of decadent sweets and you’ll be fumbling to get your jaw off the ground. Not just beautifully crafted chocs, they also do gorgeous cakes to order – just don’t say we didn’t warn you if you wake up from a trance with several boxes in your arms.

Take several seats, Melbourne – we’re the laneway queens now.
