Five popular venues are paying homage to the culture and cuisine of different nations as part of the Staycation series–running from this weekend until February!
Cherry blossoms are in full bloom at Fridays for the Spring in Tokyo pop-up! Swing by between 4 pm and 7 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday to enjoy the sunset sessions complete with Japanese-fusion bites (hello gyoza!) and bottomless cherry blossom slushies, or visit on Wednesdays for bottomless karaage chicken.
The sights, smells, sounds, and flavours of the Amalfi Coast are coming to Kingsleys Brisbane, with enough Italian eats and spritzes to go around. The Italian Staycation menu offers two experiences–antipasto and Quincy seltzers for two, or a three-course feast of antipasto, a Moreton Bay bug and vongole risotto, and a perfect lemon meringue tart. Bellissimo.
Riverland and Cleveland Sands Hotel are serving up a taste of Mexico with their spicy offerings! Riverland’s summer fiesta is inspired by Day of the Dead and will consist of tacos and bottomless frozen margaritas every Saturday and Sunday lunch, and a mariachi band every Friday night. Lock in a trip to Cleveland every Saturday morning for frozen margs and Mexi-Brunch–complete with chorizo baked eggs, chilli chocolate churro waffles, breaky beef burritos, and more!
