Funlab has brought its games room extravaganza to Westfield Chermside after the success of its Surfers Paradise, Sydney and Melbourne locations. Guests can check in with reception to experience 10 distinctly dazzling game rooms filled with fun challenges and Instagrammable moments. Don’t forget your room key!
The whole venue is decked out in a vibrant New York hotel theme complete with uniformed staff who add to the playful ambience, delivering light-hearted jokes and mind-boggling riddles. Be prepared for a wobbly ride up the elevator where your trusty bellboy will escort you to your first room. Then, it’s time to battle it out or team up with friends as you work your way through each challenge whilst the ever-stressful timer counts down. Tap your room key and discover a world of wonder behind each door, including a life-size piano playing classic tunes, giant tetris blocks and, our personal favourite, the epic ball pit!
Don’t worry, the fun and excitement doesn’t end once you leave the games rooms. Head down to the hotel bar and continue the party with bartenders ready to show off their flair skills and a banging playsuit to keep you grooving.
Sip on signature cocktails, like the bubble & pop or unicorn fire which are equal parts delicious and photo worthy, whilst you enjoy the party atmosphere. Those who have worked up a hunger from their challenges can sink their teeth into scrumptious pizza, juicy sliders and finger-licking corn ribs.
