Byblos is back!

Oh, and we have the recipe for their most iconic cocktail…

Among Portside Wharf’s range of eclectic riverside eateries, Mediterranean spot Byblos stands out as the star. Having recently reopened, this chic restaurant and bar is back better than ever, and ready to serve up the goods for every occasion from family dining to date-night drinks.

Using flavour to tell the story of the Mediterranean, the indulgent menu tantalises taste buds with a unique fusion of eastern flavours, modern techniques, and fresh ingredients. The trio of dips is the perfect place to begin, with hommos, baba ganouj and labneh; we recommend spice-lovers add the mohammara!

Dine al fresco by the river and indulge in a selection of mezat, a selection of small dishes considered a social event in Lebanon. The options are endless, with something for everyone, from pumpkin kebbi to beef shawarma and favourites like grilled halloumi.

For all our cocktail connoisseurs, Byblos’ drinks menu features some tempting cocktails—the Portside Passion is a classic, and we even have the recipe for you to recreate it from home: simply add the pulp of one passionfruit to a Boston shaker with 30ml of Zubrowka vodka, 30ml of peach liqueur and 30ml of apple juice, and shake! Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with an aromatic mint leaf. Enjoy!

On top of fine Lebanese fare and delicious cocktails, Byblos also specializes in functions, with three distinct spaces suitable for cocktails and canapes as well as sit-down feasts. Now that larger groups are in the clear, head here to browse their functions packages and to speak to the team.

With its unique and flavour-packed menu, gorgeous river views, and stylish interior, every visit to Byblos is an adventure. A really, really tasty adventure…
