Taking over The Old Museum’s beautiful heritage gardens, the Summer Night Markets are here to change the way you shop, taking everything that is fun and delicious about those Saturday morning market visits and putting it into Friday nights.
Starting on November 13 (with a spooky Friday the 13th movie screening) and running until December 18, the Friday night markets will combine food, wine, beer and music for a cool feast-ive affair. Whether you’re into supporting local music acts with a pint of craft beer or sipping wine while you tuck into eats from your favourite food truck, the Summer Night Markets will be the perfect destination for those seeking something to eat or something to do.
Welcome the warmer weather with a Stone & Wood brew or a glass of boutique white wine from the bar and choose from one of the many food trucks and stalls who’ll be dishing up their goods. Mangia Mangia will be there with their creative Italian, Bella BBQ have the meat lovers covered and Concoctions Kerb Side’s smoothie bowls and raw treats will provide a healthy alternative. Fiery Deli, Fire ‘n’ Dough, Greek Street Kantina, Divine Doughnuts – the list goes on, so you can rest assured you’ll find something to eat no matter what you’re craving.
There will be plenty of opportunities for shopping once you’ve sated your hunger, of course, with plenty of artisans and makers bringing their creations along. Are we the only ones thinking Christmas gift shopping just got a whole lot easier?
