Start off your deep dive with a lobster bisque served with crustacean foam and grissini, move on to the brioche roll loaded with lobster pieces, old school Marie Rose sauce, lettuce and herbs, and finish off your lobster odyssey with a rock lobster, either served chilled with condiments and fresh fruit, or wood-grilled and served in your choice of preparation (butter and garlic, chilli, tomato and shallots, olive oil, lemon and fresh herbs, or with pappardelle in white wine and tomato). Phew… that’s a lot of lobster.

Get your claws around silky lo mein noodles, garlic butter, glistening roe and meaty pieces of painted crayfish at this Howard Smith Wharves hotspot. Okay, okay, it might not be lobster, but it’s a cousin (and we like it just as much!).

For a taste of New York-style opulence (and great food and wine), SK is your go-to! Spoil yourself to the lobster risotto with crustacean bisque, go big with a baked southern rock lobster in garlic butter, lemon, or Mornay-style, or add a little taste of the good stuff as a side with the decadent bug and lobster mashed potato (now that’s our idea of surf and turf).
