Tuesday night wine club flips inner-city dining on its head, inviting anyone and everyone (the public!) to bring whatever drop they please and dig in to the fresh, finessed fare on offer.
Otto | Brisbane CBD
Saturday lunch just got interesting at Otto. We love a fine-dining spot in the heart of the CBD that offers a BYO service. Set up as a communal three-course feast to be shared with friends or family, you may bring whatever wine you please, with corkage included in the price. Some of the share plates on offer include braised veal with tomato, capers, olives and polenta, and a hazelnut, orange and mascarpone tart to finish. You bring the wine, Ripiena brings the pasta. Tuesday nights are BYO nights at this authentic Italian spot. Quietly offering some of Brisbane’s best pasta, the simple-but-effective menu is perfectly matched with all wines on offer, or whichever one you choose to bring from home!
Caravanserai | West End
Caravanserai warns that their traditional and modern Turkish treats are dangerously addictive, and encourage you to approach with caution. We choose to throw caution to the wind and dive head-first into their vast menu of perfectly executed Turkish fare. This homey West End spot is exclusively BYO, encouraging you to bring whatever you please every night of the week.
Sugo Mi | Bulimba
Sitting pretty in the heart of Bulimba’s Oxford Street is local favourite Sugo Mi. Renowned for their outrageously good pizza and gelato, things only get better on Tuesday nights, when guests can BYO to their heart’s content. Better yet, the corkage per bottle is donated to charity, so feel free to bring a whole cellar’s worth if you’re feeling philanthropic.
