Blow a welcome kiss to Bisou Bisou, Fortitude Valley’s newest taste of France

Bonjour, baby.

The latest string in Ghanem Group’s (Byblos, Blackbird, Donna Chang, Boom Boom Room Izakaya) bow, Bisou Bisou opens its doors on Monday, February 22 in the brand spankin’ fresh Hotel X on Brunswick Street.

A Parisian holiday waiting to be savoured, Bisou Bisou is a celebration of the indulgence and romance of French cuisine, offering breakfast, lunch, aperitivo and dinner in an array of spaces begging to be explored, including an oyster and caviar bar!

The menu, developed by Head Chef Anthony Donaldson and Executive Chef Jake Nicolson, features classic French delights like seafood bouillabaisse with a saffron rouille, suckling pork cassoulet, and a free-standing rotisserie roasting up locally-sourced poultry and game… juicy!

Alongside iconic desserts like tarte Tatin with cinnamon ice cream, oui have our sights set on the fromage trolley, which is laden with 25 Aussie and French cheeses seal the deal for those seeking a bit of shameless indulgence.

It wouldn’t be a French venue without a solid smattering of wine, so Bisou Bisou offers a strong glass and bottle list, as well as a tantalising selection of signature cocktails.

With Bisou Bisou opening its doors, next on the agenda is sister venue Iris, set to be a Mediterranean-inspired rooftop bar upstairs at Hotel X—stay tuned for news on when she’ll be checking in!

In the meantime, you can learn more and book in to visit the Valley’s newest Parisian hunk here.
