Whip those Google calendars out now – we’ve curated the best festivals around Brisbane that just cannot be missed. Keeping to our New Year’s resolution of being more organised, we’re getting in early, so there’s no excuse to miss out!

Stones Corner Festival | Sunday, April 30 

Can you hear the cans of craft beer cracking yet? Stones Corner Festival couldn’t come soon enough; on April 30, expect a day full of beer, food and music with a lineup that that will have you dancing through the street. 

The event runs from 12pm to 10pm with free entry, go enjoy a fun day out for the whole family!

Spaced Out Brisbane 2023 | Saturday, May 13 

This May, Interstellar Music presents us with Spaced Out 2023 – bringing us the ultimate day out at Felons Brewing Co at Howard Smith Wharves. With Shag Rock, Dice, Peach Fur, Rum Jungle and more headlining, it’s a day for Felons brewed beer, endless surf vibes and alternative rock.

Paniyiri Greek Festival | May 20 – 21

No need to bring your passport, just pack your picnic blanket. Brisbane is serving up everything Greek at Paniyiri Festival 2023 right here in Musgrave Park. From souvlaki, BBQ calamari and deliciously sweet honey puffs to Zorba dancing, rides and fireworks, Paniyiri is the cultural event of the year.

Teneriffe Festival | Saturday, May 27 

We’re turning boujee into groovy this May at Teneriffe Festival. This street fiesta boasts all things droolworthy as well as music, drinks and art. Attracting 50,000 people to the streets of Teneriffe, last year hosted a lineup of incredible artists such as Ben Lee, Resin Dogs, The Predators, Wil Wagner from The Smith Street Band and so much more!

From 10am to 9pm no tickets required, pack yourself a day full of culture and fun at Teneriffe.

Sounds of Rock Festival | Saturday, June 17 

With June on the horizon already, we can already hear the Sounds of Rock Festival calling out to all their die-hard rockers. Grab your arm chairs, sunnies and wide brimmed hats and enjoy old school rock ‘n’ roll whilst sitting in the sun, drink in hand. You can expect an epic lineup of Billy Ocean, Leo Sayer, The Black Sorrows, Russel Morris and more. 

The festival will take place at Pine Rivers Park in Strathpine from 1pm. Get tickets here!

Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival | August 4 – 6 

Transport yourself into the world of seafood and wine at Miguel Maestre’s Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival this August. With live music, cooking demonstrations and celebrity chefs, this three day seafood extravaganza is one of Queensland’s largest and most scrumptious food festivals. Spend a day unwinding by the water with a platter of seafood and crisp wine whilst watching spectacular cooking presentations.

Mekka Fest 2023 | Saturday, August 19 

Get dressed up for the ultimate races this August at Mekka Fest 2023. This year, Mekka Fest is bringing us the ultimate Aussie lineup with The Jungle Giants, Lisi, Odd Mob and a special appearance from Murray Cook, the original red Wiggle! Don’t miss out on this unbelievable festival with fancy dress, races and iconic Aussie music to boot.

Splendour In The Grass | July 21 – 23

We can’t mention festivals without mentioning Australia’s biggest music festival of the year, the day we all plan our work calendars around, the festival that’s only a few hours from home, Splendour In The Grass! Although dubbing itself the all-too-real name of Splendour In The Mud, we aren’t ready to stop splendour-ing it up just yet. You can expect one of their best lineups yet, Lizzo will be headlining for 2023, along with Flume, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Hilltop Hoods, and Tove Lo.
