TUESDAY Snack Man | East St, Fortitude Valley
Coming from the owners of Happy Boy, it only makes sense that they know how to give us a Happy Hour. Book before 6:30pm and you’ll score yourself half-price cocktails! With their delicious range of Chinese-influenced meals – including prawn dumplings, steamed Chinese greens and chilled mango soup – you’ll be happy no matter what time you’re here.
WEDNESDAY Melrose Restaurant | 37 Oxford Street, Bulimba
Taking a step further than just a traditional Happy Hour, Bulimba’s lush getaway serves up a fine selection of their lagers, ales, and wines for their Sunset Hour between 5 and 6pm (Wednesday to Sunday). But it’s their $3.50 oysters and discounted Margaritas and Spritzes that truly have us out of the office with glee. Word to the wise, these nights get quite popular so a booking wouldn’t go astray.
THURSDAY The Boundary | 137 Boundary St, West End
