Five weeks of beer, pretzels, and pork knuckles? Sign us up! Despite Brisbane’s major Oktoberfest event being cancelled, The Bavarian restaurants across Queensland are bringing the spirit of Germany!
Available until Sunday, October 17, a stacked Oktoberfest set menu is serving up haus-baked pretzels, a Bavarian tasting platter (feat. crackling pork belly, roast pork knuckle, German sausages, chicken schnitzel, sauerkraut, red cabbage, creamy mash, apple compote & bier jus) and classic apple strudel with vanilla ice cream, as well as a two-hour beverage package, for $79pp!
The Bavarian is also going for gold with a la carte specials, like thicc pork knuckles with golden crackling, traditional German sausages, and loaded sharing platters.
Break out your dancing shoes too; there will be Oompah bands playing the best bops at selected restaurants every Friday from 6pm to 9pm and Saturday from 7pm to 10pm. If you need a bit of liquid courage to get those legs moving, all locations have ten (!!) beers on tap, including three limited-edition Oktoberfest sips brewed specifically for this event.
