Opening in early September within the lively Fish Lane Arts Precinct, Midtown is set to elevate the laneway’s already impressive lineup with its intimate setting and focus on two-sip martinis and timeless cocktails.
Despite its cosy size, the venue cleverly divides into Uptown, Midtown, and Downtown areas. A central spotted gum bar (Midtown) leads to a private dining space (Uptown), while an inviting outdoor terrace (Downtown) completes the trifecta.
Concocted by Daniel and Amelia Miletic, the masterminds behind Kangaroo Point’s One Fish Two Fish, Midtown draws from global travels to capture the essence of renowned small bars worldwide. This influence subtly flavours the branding and menu, creating an atmosphere that feels both exotic and familiar, making Midtown a local favourite in no time.
Midtown’s menu boasts classic and contemporary cocktails, along with a curated wine selection. The standouts? Two-sip martinis that’ll leave you begging for another drop.
