SAVILE ROW
From the giant chandeliers to the towering whisky wall – Savile Row is class incarnate. Step behind the orange door (there’s no sign, just 667) and find yourself transported far away from the usual chaos of the Valley. Order from their extensive cocktail menu, or try something from the aforementioned whisky list. With table service upstairs, recline in a booth and pretend you’re as fancy as the décor.
HEYA
Whether you’re chasing kaarage popcorn chicken, beating your mates at pool or just want to indulge in some Japanese-inspired cocktails, Heya is waiting for you. Descend into the Golden Gai inspired basement bar and order a Sake Mojito with sake, lemon juice, Vietnamese mint and sparkling yuzu or beat the incoming summer heat with a frozen cocktail.
BLOODHOUND
The craft beer bar is perfect for any occasion, from after work drinks to cute dates. With 10 beers on tap and a huge range of beers from easy drinking pale ales to dark, hop-driven IPAs and stouts. Prepare for a big night by smashing some of their tacos (PSA 2-for-1 on Tuesdays) with options like pulled pork shoulder with pineapple salsa or chili marinated grilled artichoke. You’ll be sure to sniff out something great at Bloodhound Bar.
THE BOWERY
Named after the famous New York street, the dimly lit Bowery is an homage to the dive bars that line it. With jazz music and a chilled atmosphere, as well as a killer cocktail list and star bartenders – The Bowery is a reprieve from the chaos of the Valley.
PRESS CLUB
Still feeling jazzy? Head up the street to Press Club. Specialising in live music and hand-crafted cocktails, the bar is as visually stunning as it is a damn good time. Order a Press Club sour or Clockwork orange, sit back on the leather couches and let the jazz carry you away….
