Best of Manly & Wynnum

Thing to do in Manly & Wynnum
Ok, it’s true, we often get stuck in the inner city and forget how delicious the ‘burbs can be.

Sometimes you just have to get out of the city. Only a 30 minute drive out of Brisbane, a road trip out to Manly or Wynnum serves up beautiful bayside views, locally handcrafted attire and, of course, the sleekest of culinary delights.

Adelita Wine Bar | 32a Glenora Street, Wynnum

With seasonal menus – they’re currently in their autumn era – Adelita Wine Bar serves up vinos by the bay as you delight in a contemporary modern twist on Australian cuisine. Torched Lebanese cucumber with compressed Kohlrabi and whipped buttermilk, anyone?

The Arsonist | 457 Esplanade, Manly

Immerse yourself in the multi-sensory dining experience that is The Arsonist at Manly. Despite their custom-made fire pit and flame grill, here’s no smoke and mirrors on display here, just pure culinary delight. Take a drive and feast on BBQ Berkshire pork scotch and Ruby Creek mushroom skewers, all the while taking in the charming sights of Manly’s bayside village.

Tide On The Jetty | 1 Wyvernleigh Close, Manly

Another bayside beauty, Tide On The Jetty’s menu features the best of local ingredients. Start your day off with ocean trout on sourdough, finish on vanilla panna cotta, and take in the sea breeze and glittery water in between.

Miss Mexicana | 89 Bay Terrace, Wynnum

Inspired by Miss Mexicana herself – the legendary artist Frida Kahlo – Miss Mexicana is a split-level eatery featuring casual, cantina style eating downstairs and a colourful dining area upstairs, complete with a full bar. Adorned with Frida Kahlo artwork, your senses will be satisfied as you view her iconic catalogue and feast on tequila-soaked prawns and braised beef brisket tacos.

Seavibes | Cnr Esplanade and Cambridge Parade, Manly

We’re not sure what’s better here – the location, the vibes or the food. Right on the bay of the Manly Harbour, Seavibes is for breakfast pizzas, beer-battered fish and chips, and Aperol spritzes. And now, Green Beacon Brewing Co is popping up for a bayside collaboration that will keep the good vibes going.
