I Heart Brownies gets new digs

We heart brownies. A lot. So it’s little wonder that we’re as excited as a kid in a candy store that I Heart Brownies has just opened their very own store, where we can get their delicious brownies every day of the week. No longer limited to weekly market stalls, I Heart Brownies has just opened up a new store in the Valley, bringing a whole lot of sweet, chocolatey goodness to Bakery Lane. And to the happy customers who have been begging the owner and master baker behind the sweet treats, Lulu Parnell, to open a store ever since her stall hit the markets a few years ago. Finally, we can sate our cravings for the gooey hearts whenever they strike, and with flavours like Jaffa, cherry and coconut, mint, salted caramel and peanut butter and jelly on offer, we’re pretty sure they’re going to strike often. All gluten-free and made with nothing but fresh ingredients (and plenty of love) to Lulu’s secret recipe, they’re enough to have us swearing off cupcakes for life. The new café has space to hang out and eat the brownies right then and there if you simply can’t wait until you get them back to the house/office, and you can even get them topped with the store’s housemade ice-cream and sauces. They’re almost as hard to choose from as the brownies, with ice-cream in flavours like caramel, strawberry, mocha, chocolate chip, rum ‘n’ raisin, banana – the list goes on! Luckily you can grab a coffee to help combat the inevitable sugar coma, or a shake or frappe if you’re a hardened sweets fiend for whom a brownie isn’t quite enough. Sit inside and get further intoxicated by the freshly baked brownie aroma, or outside in Bakery Lane under the sky. The cafe is open until late on Friday and Saturday nights – perfect if you’ve found yourself with a booze induced hanger but a kebab just won’t cut it! I Heart Brownies shiny new digs are located in Bakery Lane at 694 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley and they’ll be open 7 days a week:
Monday-Thursday: 7am-6pm
Friday-Saturday: 7am-10pm
Sunday: 10am-4pm
