You might know them better for their nightlife, but Friday’s are putting the sun back into Sundays with their rooftop sessions that send off the weekend in style. With delicious BBQ fare to share with friends, vibrant beats from 11am until late to get your toes tapping and plenty of drinks, you’ll want to pretend Monday is never coming.
Forget throwing snags on the barbie at home, here the menu is inspired by BBQ fare from the international experts of lazy Sunday sessions: South America and the Mediterranean. Dig into flavoursome bites likes spicy chorizo sausages, lamb and haloumi skewers, parmesan churros and slow braised pork carnitas, all washed down with fruity Pimms, ice cold beers and summer inspired cocktails from the crafty mixologists at the bar.
If you don’t want to share your final meal of the weekend, the BBQ beef burger with maple bacon and cheddar cheese is one to keep all to yourself, or you can channel those riverside vibes with fresh market fish BBQ’d to perfection and served with an apple walnut salad and chunky fries. Either way, there’s no chance you’ll go hungry at this Sunday session, no matter how many of those Pimms you down.
The perfect Sunday afternoon isn’t complete without tunes of course, and there’ll be plenty of those! With Mr TEE funking things up from 11am-6pm, live bands playing between 2.30 and 6.30pm and DJ Ash making sure your weekend doesn’t end until late, there won’t be a minute when you’re not grooving to a beat.
