A new food hall style venue from the team behind Bar Pacino, Metropole Bar Eatery is a whole new way to dine. And don’t just imagine the food court you usually visit for a Brisbane city lunch, because at this spot, you aren’t just able to grab a takeaway feed – you can also sit down and pair your meal with a beer or wine from the bar if you so desire.
Divided into two sections, the eatery offers both Asian and Western eats. On one side, you’ll find a veritable bazaar of pan-Asian bites, from rice paper rolls and banh mis to sweet and sour pork and satay chicken. Prefer something even fresher? Order from the short but favourites-filled menu, which offers pad Thai and pho amongst others.
On the Western side, fresh salads and grab-and-go toasted paninis are just the beginning, with a carvery also offering up a selection of comforting feeds. But before you shake your head at the thought of dry roast beef and greasy potatoes, think again. Here you’ll find juicy roast ham, handmade arancini, cheesy lasagnes and plenty more.
