The riverside pop-up bar you need to check out

Close your eyes and picture this: You’re sitting in a comfy chair by the river, ice cold Aperol Spritz in hand, having just polished off a cheesy pepperoni pizza. A light breeze tickles your face as you take in the view of the Story Bridge in front of you, with one of Brisbane’s most stunning heritage buildings providing the perfect background to those Instagram selfies. Are you imagining it? Good, now open your eyes and enjoy it for real – because that’s just what you’ll find at Customs House’s pop-up Aperol Spritz bar! That’s right, their weekly pop-up bar just got even better, with Pizzantica the pizza kombi rolling in and joining the party every Sunday from 1-3pm. While you’ll find loads of bar bites on the menu every Wednesday to Saturday evening to pair with your negroni or chilled rosé, one of Pizzantica’s fiery mozzarella laden pizzas sounds like the perfect way to end a weekend to us! Once your appetite is sated, you can keep sipping Aperol Spritz until 5pm, and pretend that Monday is never coming. Lucky you only have to get through two more days until you can head back for after drinks on a Wednesday afternoon, right? Find the pop-up bar in the riverside courtyard of Customs House, Wednesday to Saturday from 4pm-late, and Sunday from 1-5pm, with Pizzantica making an appearance every Sunday from 1-3pm.
