Stones Corner Festival

After we lost Big Day Out, the Future Music Festival and Soundwave, we needed time to grieve and learn to love again. But now, we are ready and willing to open our hearts, and we think true love might be just around Stones Corner. At the mention of Brisbane’s best free south side music festival, Stones Corner Festival, we can feel our hearts beginning to heal. For the fourth year in a row, the southern suburb of Greenslopes will come alive with tunes, markets, food, and brews – just a stone’s throw from the city. Every great love story starts with a sound track – and who wouldn’t be totally smitten with a line up featuring local legends, Regurgitator, plus a long list of indie favourites like Sahara Beck and I Heart Hiroshima? Not to mention the incredible line up of drinks with breweries like Stone and Wood, Newstead Brewing Co, Coopers Brewery and Stockade Brew Co. The romance only continues with a whole day of fave food trucks like The Frying Piggy, How We Rolls & Rolling Stone Pizza, Catch & Kiss, That BBQ Joint, and Chipstars. So prep your baggy clothing and bring on a whole day of working your way around the festival – one food truck at a time. The best bit? This event is all ages, so bring along the kids to enjoy the entertainment, jumping castles and market stalls. If you want to be included in Brisbane’s greatest love story, where food trucks, Brisbane’s most iconic music acts, craft breweries and market stalls come together as one – head to Stones Corner on Sunday 30th April from 12pm, or check out the website here for more details. Keeping the G&G up to date with all the latest tasty tidbits requires a lot of double lattes and espresso martinis, so we occasionally need to give out some sponsored love. But rest assured that we only work with businesses that we think are really nifty, as the sponsor for this post is!
