West End Welcomes Mirrorball Ministries, from the team behind “Can You Keep A Secret?”

Brisbane’s live music scene is about to gain a shining new home with the grand opening of Mirrorball Ministries in West End on Saturday, October 4.

Brought to life by the team behind Woolloongabba’s Can You Keep A Secret?, this ambitious new project is transforming the historic AHEPA Hall on Boundary Street into a vibrant hub for music and culture.

At its heart, Mirrorball Ministries is designed to nurture Brisbane’s music community, offering a dedicated platform for both emerging talent and established touring acts across all genres. The venue features two performance spaces: the intimate True Love Club with capacity for 80, and a larger 250-person band room. Each space comes with its own bar and a loungey 1980s-inspired aesthetic, accented with warm, homely, Greek touches in a nod to the building’s heritage.

The opening night celebrations will set the tone for what is to come. Headliners CHURCH Improvisation Sessions will lead the festivities with their genre-bending, free-flowing approach to live performance, promising an evening that is as unpredictable as it is unforgettable.

Doors open at 7:00 pm, and in keeping with the community spirit, entry will be by donation. Whether you are a long-time fan of Brisbane’s underground music scene or simply curious about the buzz, Mirrorball Ministries promises a night, and a future, worth celebrating.
