For two decades, Youngcare has been rewriting the story for young Australians living with disability, championing independence and dignity through specialist housing, grants, advocacy and research. Now on Friday October 3, they’re bringing the community together for a night that honours this incredible journey while rallying support for the future.
And honestly, could there be anything more Brisbane than The Veronicas leading the celebration? The twin sisters who grew up right here have taken their powerhouse pop anthems to stages across the globe – and now they’ll return home to headline a cause that couldn’t be closer to the city’s heart.
Hosted by music legend and beloved broadcaster Myf Warhurst, the night will also feature an electrifying DJ set from Client Liaison, plus performances from Brisbane favourites HANNI, Later Daze and Rexy. Expect big energy, plenty of nostalgia, and the kind of live soundtrack only Brisbane can deliver.
Adding to the excitement, the night will include a live auction and raffles, with all proceeds helping to raise vital funds for Youngcare’s work. It’s more than just a concert – it’s a chance for music lovers, supporters, partners and the broader community to stand together in support of young Australians who deserve the right to live with freedom, choice and dignity.
With the support of generous sponsors including FBAA, KO&Co Architecture, Suncorp, Raine & Associates and Hutchinson Builders, this event promises to be a landmark in Brisbane’s cultural calendar.
Living Loud: 20 Years of Youngcare is more than a celebration. It’s a reminder of the power Brisbane has when its people come together – and with The Veronicas at the helm, you know it’s going to be an unforgettable night.
