Say hello to FEASTival, the newest foodie playground making its debut on 27 and 28 September at Queens Park. It is all about sunshine, good eats and laid back vibes.
This two day foodie celebration showcases the region’s best bites, from pop up kitchens and artisan producers to boutique bars and live local music under shady trees. It is part food festival, part laid back picnic, and 100 per cent made for gathering your crew, throwing down a rug and tasting your way through the day.
And yes, there is a headline act, because no festival is complete without a little sparkle. Celebrity chef, Miguel Maestre will be bringing his signature flair and live cooking demos on both days to share his passion for fresh and seasonal cooking.
And for foodies who want to go all in, FEASTival is adding some premium sparkle with ticketed masterclass sessions at the Mixing Bowl precinct where you can get hands-on tastings, interactive sessions and a chance to learn from the best. Tickets for this are limited and priced between $20 and $50.
From the first bites to the sunset beats, FEASTival will be fun, flavourful and Queensland’s prettiest picnic spot. And when the picnic winds down, the night does not have to. Just a short stroll away, Toowoomba’s city bars and pubs will keep the good times rolling.
Go get your tickets, because this is more than a festival, it is FEASTival.
