The event, held on Wednesday 10 September from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, promises an intimate blend of Japanese craftsmanship and elevated Asian cuisine, all for $150 per guest.
In collaboration with Fuji Whiskey, distilled at the foot of Japan’s iconic Mt. Fuji, Longwang’s chefs have curated a three-course banquet where every dish is thoughtfully paired with both a neat pour and a bespoke cocktail. Guests will begin with a spread of Asian-inspired entrées, from chicken bao, beef tartare bites, to beef dumplings and prawn toast, matched with Fuji’s Single Blended Whiskey. The main course showcases wagyu beef stir-fry and duck breast pancakes, paired with Fuji’s Single Grain expression. To close, diners will round out the experience with Longwang’s signature dark chocolate dessert alongside Fuji’s smooth Single Malt.
Longwang itself sets the stage for the evening with its sophisticated aesthetic. Dark marble tabletops, moody pendant lighting, and sleek finishes create an urban-chic atmosphere, while curved booth seating and touches of greenery soften the space with warmth and intimacy. The setting invites you with its smooth stone textures and its ambient glow, fully designed for memorable nights out.
Beyond the three-course banquet, Longwang’s menu also shines with crowd favourites such as the succulent chicken bao, freshly shucked oysters, delicate kingfish sashimi, and the rich tea-smoked duck. To finish with a sweet experience, the strawberry matcha tiramisu is a must-try.
Designed for whiskey lovers and food enthusiasts alike, this intimate dining experience is about more than flavour—it’s about connection, discovery, and a celebration of culture. With limited seats available, the Fuji Whiskey Dinner at Longwang is set to be one of Brisbane’s most memorable dining events this season.
