Whether you’re looking for a new date night spot, a family-friendly (and dog-friendly!) place for breaky or just stopping by for a beer and snacks, East Brissy’s Neesh Bar is your new go-to.
Sitting pretty on Stanley Street East (just up the road from The Gabba) and boasting one heck of a menu with flavours from around the world, Neesh Bar has you covered for breaky, lunch and dinner!
With all-day breakfast on the weekends and between 7 am and 11.30 am on weekdays, Neesh’s range of breakfast eats include the breakfast bucket list worthy crème brûlée french toast, and the Neesh brunch grazer (for a minimum of two guests) with toasted ciabatta, fried eggs, avo, halloumi, hummus, potato chive rosti, kransky and herb mushrooms, as well as French toast, granola, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. How does that even fit onto a platter!?
When lunchtime rolls around, we’re wrapping our smackers around burgers (hello five-spiced fried chicken!), market fish and chips, and a healthy power bowl complete with brown rice, tabouli, feta, Moroccan butternut pumpkin, cucumber labneh, spiced dukkah, and lemon garlic oil.
Just when you thought things couldn’t get any yummier comes dinner time. Neesh’s whopping selection of small plates has everything from charcuterie to spiced pakoras, Korean fried chicken, and char siu pork belly bao buns. Neesh’s signature offering is their wood-fired pizzas, and our picks are peri peri chicken, hoisin duck, and, of course, the meat lovers.
A drinks menu complete with turmeric, beetroot and matcha lattes and freshly-squeezed juices and smoothies is available for breaky, while local craft beers and a range of wine is on offer later in the day.
On top of their standard offerings, Neesh offers a boozy brunch (with the Neesh brunch grazer and bottomless mimosas for $50pp) and the lazy banquet (seven courses of share plates, including dessert for $39pp).
The team at Neesh are also pros when it comes to functions, with an epic beer garden out the back that has good times written all over it. To enquire about a function, simply email [email protected].
You can find Neesh Bar in Woolloongabba, open seven days a week, 7 am-2 pm, and 5.30-late, Thursdays-Saturdays. Head here to book a table!
