Setting up shop adjacent to the much-loved Osbourne Hotel, Shhh! is a gin joint like no other. Falling somewhere between a sophisticated and elegant speakeasy and a hip late-night club, Shhh! draws inspiration from the lush cocktail parlours of London’s bar scene.
Take your pick from six G&T varieties, ranging from strawberry and grapefruit, mulberry and orange, and elderflower versions, or opt for one of ten other cocktails, such as spritzes, Negronis and mules. Otherwise, get tasting thanks to the four gin flights, featuring tipples spanning from Australia, France, Germany, the UK, USA and Iceland. If gin is not your poison of choice, worry not, as non-cocktail drinkers can sip on tap beers, natural wines and more.
The food menu at Shhh! boasts an array of small and large share-friendly plates which pair perfectly with gin like pork belly baos, haloumi fries, pea and mint arancini, fried chicken tacos, and mixed cheese boards.
Shhh! will be open Wednesday and Thursday evenings, when guests will be treated to live piano tunes, and Friday and Saturday nights, when a DJ will be spinning retro tracks.
