Southbank Beer Garden

Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, the beer garden is a breezy, open venue with some pretty sweet views of the river and city beyond, perfect for a sunny Sunday sesh or just a few post-work drinks at beer-thirty. You can even get boozy at breakfast (kind of), with morning feeds like damper beer scones and a flap jack banana stack with a rum infused foster sauce and maple bacon ice cream. Not to mention the breakfast cocktails. It’s 5.30pm somewhere in the world, right?

If getting up before noon is a little too hard on the weekends (we understand), just head in for a leisurely lunch or evening feed instead. Beer cheese fondue with charcuterie, vegetable crudités and bread sticks had us drooling from the moment we saw it on the menu, but you might prefer the meaty pork riblettes with apple and bourbon BBQ sauce and a big side of BBQ corn.
