Southbeach Social
There might not be any actual surf involved at the South Bank Surf Club, but that’s made up for with the sight of the glistening waters of South Bank’s Streets Beach below, and enough fresh, locally caught and sustainably sourced seafood that you’d be ditching the waves for a few extra courses even if there were any. Not to mention that being located in the heart of the city, there’s plenty of transport nearby so you don’t have to worry about finding your way home when you’ve one to many boozy treats after a long day.
And with imported and Australian beers starting at just $5 a pop, and cocktails like lychee mojitos and elderflower martinis, we’re pretty sure you’ll be tempted into having one too many! As for food to line your stomach with, you’ll find fresh seafood like vanilla and vodka cured ocean trout and a crisp crab and Malay salad, as well as plenty of classic surf ‘n’ turf like salt and pepper calamari and tender steaks. There’s even good old fashioned fish and chips, plus a few not-so-surfy meals like pork ribs and spiced BBQ chicken. Something for everyone, right?
