Bringing together the region’s best farmers, chefs, and artisans, it’s the perfect excuse to grab your esky and head to the country. Here are the top five things we can’t wait to do this weekend.
1. Taste Quirky, World-First Flavours
Get ready to push your culinary boundaries. You can try Moffatt Fresh Produce’s legendary carrot ice cream, or sample Ungermann Brothers’ exclusive festival gelatos, featuring wild flavours like pumpkin spice latte and sweetcorn with candied bacon.
2. Cheer on the Epic 10-Tonne Tractor Pull

It’s the ultimate battle for bragging rights. Head to the main arena to watch local butchers, farmers, and Council teams put their muscle to the test as they try to wrestle a massive 10-tonne Kubota tractor across the finish line for charity.
3. Master the ‘Lost Culinary Arts’
Step inside the historic Kalbar School of Arts & Memorial Hall to learn traditional country skills, and watch live demonstrations on the art of canning, pickling, and preserving, and stock up on generational jams and chutneys.
4. Kick Up Dust at the Harvest Hoedown
The party doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Dust off your boots for Saturday night’s Harvest Hoedown, featuring a stellar lineup of country music stars including Riley Ziskey and Laura Frank, alongside plenty of line dancing.
5. Extend the Adventure on Sunday
Don’t head home too early! On Sunday, you can get your hands dirty picking produce with fifth-generation farmers at Valley Pride Produce, or relax with a Tour, Taste, and Camel Encounter at Summer Land Camels.
